Mirrl is a solid surface material on a Birch plywood substrate. It is highly resilient, long lasting, waterproof, food safe, repairable and ready for joinery. Mirrl is a 1.5mm solid surface layer normally supplied on sheets of 18mm ply with 10mm trimmed off all round – so the standard sheets we produce are 2420mm x 1200mm x 19.5mm, and measure approx 2.8m² after edge dressing.

By hand, in a workshop in Glasgow.

The process involves producing multiple patterned layers of tinted resin in different tones or colours onto Birch plywood.

Mirrl is hand made, so each order has a different price per unit depending on:

  • how many sheets are required
  • whether you want a colourway from our core range, or a customised colour
  • when you need the order to arrive.

To give an idea of price, a sheet of core colourway Mirrl delivered 6 to 8 weeks after the order is placed costs £1250 excluding VAT and including delivery costs when delivered to a mainland UK address. We can also ship to anywhere in mainland Europe, but please note there can be additional country specific delivery charges.

The products are handmade to order in our Glasgow workshop. The standard turnaround is 6 to 8 weeks after the order is placed. If workload allows, Mirrl can be produced more quickly, however an additional charge will apply.
